El Paso County Child Support Enforcement
Enforcing an Order

Once the child support order is established, enforcement action will begin if the non-custodial parent does not pay as ordered or provide medical support as ordered. We will begin enforcement actions when child support payments are at least 30 days past due. If the order requires the non-custodial parent to provide medical support for the child and the non-custodial parent is not providing it as ordered we will take action to enforce this provision as well. The type of enforcement action taken depends on the specific circumstances of each case. Click here for more information about enforcement.
