Either parent can request a review of the child support order to see if the amount of child support needs to be adjusted or health insurance needs to be added. Based on new information, the amount of the order could increase, decrease, or stay the same. There must be at least a 10-percent change in the amount of the support order to be eligible for modification. Cases are automatically eligible for review and modification every three years.
